Sexual activity can affect my future in many ways and the most common example is teen pregnancy. Two thirds of preganant teenagers drop out of school. I do not want to drop out, I want to finish my education before having a baby. It can also affect my health. The biggest threat is Aids. There is not known cures for Aids and about 60% og teens with HIV in the US do not even know they're infected. STD's usually are a long term desease as well. Most sexual activity are caused by romance which can sometimes lead to teenage pregnancy. Most couples no not withstand the tension and stress and often times the male will leave. A large percentage of fathers involved in teen pregnancies are 20 years old or older. Abstinence does not have as many risks as participating in sexual activity does. Teens who do not partake in sexual intercourse can get their priorities done first  as sexual intercourse can distract them from a bigger goal. Many teenagers choose abstinence due to religion as well.

Marta_Voda [28]

Answer:

The answer is B. The people in the study were deceived into thinking they were hurting someone.

Explanation:

The Milgram experiment is controversial because of the numerous ethical considerations that were not taken into account. The main one was that Milgram designed the experiment in a way in which the participants trully believed that they were hurting someone. Although Milgram argued that deception was necessary in order to analyze how far a person's obedience can go, the thought of hurting someone caused a great amount of stress among the participants. Participants experienced reactions such as sweating or trembling, there could also have been psychological long term consequences beyond the physical reactions.

In five to seven sentences, describe the difference between a parliamentary and a presidential government.
vlada-n [284]

Answer:

The major difference between these two systems is that in a Presidential system, the executive leader, the President, is directly voted upon by the people (Or via a body elected specifically for the purpose of electing the president, and no other purpose), and the executive leader of the Parliamentary system, the Prime Minister, is elected from the legislative branch directly. In the Presidential System, it is more difficult to enact legislation, especially in the event that the President has different beliefs than the legislative body. The President only responds to the people, the legislative branch can't really do anything to threaten the President. As a result, he can make it more difficult for the legislative body to do anything. In the Parliamentary system, if the Parliament doesn't like the Prime Minister, they can cast a vote of no confidence and replace him. This tends to make the executive leader subservient to the Parliament. Bottom line is, if you believe that government should have more checks and balances, then a Presidential system will give you that. If you believe that it should have the power to enact laws quickly, then you should go for a Parliamentary system.
