During the luteal phase or the latter part of the menstrual cycle, FSH or follicle stimulating hormone decreases or remained at the low level because it is suppressed by the high levels of estrogen and progesterone. FSH together with lutienizing hormone LH are hormones needed in the growth, maturity and release of ovarian follicles in the ovary.

2. To transport water to the entire plant, especially the leaves where photosynthesis takes place. This is important because water is required for photosynthesis to take place.

3. Chlorophyll.

4. The palisade layer contains the most chloroplasts.

5. The function of the stomata is to allow gas exchange to facilitate photosynthesis. It also controls the rate of photosynthesis to regulate water use of the plant. Without it, plant would have severely hindered transpiration, causing the plant to die.

6. Chloroplasts are where photosynthesis takes place. Without chloroplasts, no synthesis would happen.

7. A leaf from a desert plant would likely have less stomata to conserve water content in the plant from evaporation due to environmental factors. This is because water escapes to the environment when stomata are open in plants. The contrary would be the case for plants in a tropical environment where water is more abundant and sunlight is more lacking.

What does a liver cells shape say about what it does.
vaieri [72.5K]
The cells are polygonal in shape and their sides can be in contact either with sinusoids (sinusoidal face) or neighboring hepatocytes (lateral faces). A portion of the lateral faces of hepatocytes is modified to form bile canaliculi.

The liver filters all of the blood in the body and breaks down poisonous substances, such as alcohol and drugs. The liver also produces bile, a fluid that helps digest fats and carry away waste. The liver consists of four lobes, which are each made up of eight sections and thousands of lobules (or small lobes).
