1. Conserving water is important for our environment, future generations, and your wallet. Most people don't realize this, but w

ater is a finite resource. All the water we will ever have is on the planet right now. It is important to consider this when thinking about the importance of water conservation. If we are not good stewards of water, our future generations will suffer for it. Fresh drinking water resources are limited for people, but also remember that animals and water species also depend on it for life. It is important for us to think about and facilitate their survival in addition to our own. Cutting back on the water used during showers or for watering plants outdoors can also help save you money.

2. A Boy with Dreams
by A. Gautam

Willy waited every night
to wake up
and turn into a Batman.
He had the jaw
that looked intimidating
in a cowl,
and the perfect chin
with a hint of toughness—
full lips—an embodiment
of strength.
But he had the eyes of a poet—
searching meaning,
and looking beyond
what is seen.
When he looked at the city
from his balcony,
he was learning
to swim in the world—
growing up to be a man
was tougher than it seemed.
He was a boy with dreams.
He wanted wings.

Which statement best describes the purpose of this passage?

Question 3.3.
The scientific study of amphibians and reptiles is known as herpetology. The name comes from the Greek root herpeton which means “creeping animal.” Those who study this field of biology are known as herpetologists, though they prefer to call themselves “herpers.” Modern herpetologists specialize in a particular field of study, and it is rare to find one who focuses on general herpetology. They find work in a variety of careers, such as field research, nature guides, professors, veterinarians, museum curators, and so on. Few universities offer degrees in herpetology, so it is a highly competitive and close-knit field.

This article was included in a course catalog guide for a university.

Lina20 [59]
The event brought about the adoption of the 25th amendment is that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated and was succeeded by  Vice President Johnson, who had heart problems himself.
The 25th Amendment to the U.S Constitution compromise in succession to the Presidency and establishes procedures both for filling a vacancy in the office of the Vice President as well as responding to Presidential disabilities.

Why did the king of England introduce the Stamp act and other laws that heavily taxed the American colonists
aniked [119]

There were several reasons actually. First of all, there was a war before. As it is well known, wars are very expensive. Soldiers needed to be equipped, soldiers need to be paid, etc. Then came the need to pay for heavy costs. Who to tax? For some reason the Colonies were chosen, perhaps as the war was quite literally fought by the colonies.
