Distance between the points (-3, -4)  is  5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

points =(-3,-4) and (0,0)

To Find:

The Distance between the two given points =?

Solution:

Distance =\sqrt{(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2 }

where

(x_1, y_1) = coordinates of the first point

(x_2, y_2) = coordinates of the second point

So here, we have

x_1 = -3

y_1 = -4

x_2  = 0

y_2 = 0

So, after putting the values of x_1 , y_1 , x_2 y_2   in the above equation,  we have

Distance=\sqrt{(0+3)^2+(0+4)^2 }

Distance=\sqrt{(3)^2+(4)^2 }

Distance=\sqrt{(9)+(16) }

Distance=\sqrt{(25)}

Distance = 5

Jamal spent _ 3 4 of his allowance. On the number line, label the fraction that represents the part that Jamal spent. Explain
Vilka [71]

Answer:

Kindly check explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that :

Fraction of pocket money spent by Jamal = 3/4

The number line is divided into 4 equal parts with distance between successive tick marks representing 1 of the whole = (1/4). Hence, 3/4 of the whole would mean 3 portions of the total 4 portions of the number line represents the amount spent by Jamal.

The fraction spent by Jamal is also labeled on the number line picture in the attached document.

An answer is needed ASAP. THANK YOU!
LiRa [457]
Hey there!

A number that is divisible by both 2 and 9 is 18. This is just 2 multiplied by 9. To make this into a 3-digit number, you can just multiply 18 by itself. This will be 324, which is divisible by 9 and 2.

324 ÷ 2 = 162

324 ÷ 9 = 36

So, a number you could choose is 324.

Hope this helped you out! :-)
