I need some help with my social studies study guide. I have like 20 questions, if you could help me that would be great. It will take multiple posts by the way and I am giving out 20 points per post is given below

Explanation:

1.Native Americans have lived and worked in Georgia for over 12,000 years. Two of the largest tribes are the Creek and the Cherokee.

2.Chartered by the Georgia General Assembly in 1785, UGA was the first university in America to be created by a state government, and the principles undergirding its charter helped lay the foundation for the American system of public higher education

3..Reasons for the Westward Movement of Georgia's Capitals

By 1847 some people were unhappy with it and called for an election to move the capital to Atlanta. Another reason is that Savannah was in an inconvenient place where boats would come to dock.

4. The Yazoo land scandal, Yazoo fraud, Yazoo land fraud, or Yazoo land controversy was a massive real-estate fraud perpetrated, in the mid-1790s, by Georgia governor George Mathews[1] and the Georgia General Assembly. Georgia politicians sold large tracts of territory in the Yazoo lands, in what are now portions of the present-day states Alabama and Mississippi, to political insiders at very low prices in 1794.

5.Until 1803, lands east of the Oconee River in Georgia were distributed under the Headright system. White males who were head of the household/21 years of ages, could receive 200 acres of land. Along with the 200 acres, one could receive an additional 50 acres for every family member and/or slave. The max amount of land that could be received was 1000 acres. The headright system resulted in massive immigration to Georgia.

According to john locke, people sacrificed a portion of their freedom and consented to be ruled in exchange for what?
lina2011 [118]

I believe the answer is: the government's protection of their lives, liberty, and property.

For example, due to the existence of government, individuals have to sacrifice our ability to establish businesses however we like. But, in return the government would provide law enforcement if there is other citizens who had bad intentions toward us.

What are two examples of way that mexico reveals its blended culture
Pavel [41]
1)
The Virgen de Guadelupe, which is how the Mexicans worship Mary, mother of Jesus, is believed to have some influence of the indigenous culture in the way she is portrayed.

2) Although the language of Mexico is Spanish, many names are in indigenous languages, such as Xochimilco

In many places the indigenous languages are still spoken, although the original religions and cultures are mostly replaced by the Spanish one. (so for example, they would have western-style school, at which the indigenous languages are taught).
