Answer:

Approximatly 12.65

Step-by-step explanation:

You would use the pythagorean Theoram for this.

a^{2}+6^{2}=14^{2}

a^{2}+36=196

Subtract 36 from both sides:

a^{2}=160

Square 160 to remove the exponent on "a":

a=\sqrt{160}

a≈ 12.65

kherson [118]

Answer:

A. The daily records of the distance of each hotel from home during a cross country trip.

Step-by-step explanation:

A discreet graph is one that is composed of unconnected, "scattered" points. The best option is A because B,C and D would all be graphed to show the increase or decrease in values, (function) while the distances of the hotels are not something that you would have to measure!

Savatey [412]
A box-and-whisker plot shows 5 number summary:                                   Class A                Class B1) minimum value      65                           562) 1st quartile            66                            793) median                  81                            914) 3rd quartile            89                            945) maximum value     95                          100
Interquartile range = 3rd Quartile - 1st Quartile Class A: 89 - 66 = 23Class B: 94 - 79 = 15
IQR indicates the spread of the of the scores over the median. Class A has a spread that his more than 50% of the scores of Class B.

The ratio 20/10=5/n. What does n equal?
DIA [1.3K]
N is equal to 2.5

I divided 20 by 5 to get 4. = 20 ÷ 5 = 4. So, I divide 10 by 4 to get n. = 10 ÷ 4 = 2.5

Or we can do this solution.

20          5
----  =    ----  ; do cross multiplication.  20n = 10(5)
10          n

20n = 50 ; to get n, divide both sides by 20.    20n / 20 = 50 / 20 = n = 2.50

Whichever way: 20/10 = 5/2.5

The population of a town increased by 10% per year in 2009, 2010, and 2011. If the population of the town at the beginning of 20
natta225 [31]
So, 10% of 40,000 is 4,000 then we add up 40,000 and 4,000 and get 44,000. Then we need to know how much is 10% of 44,000 and it is 4,400. 44,000+4,400= 48,400 and then we just need to repeat this one more time. 48,400+4,840(10% of 48,400)= 53,240. That is the answer))))
