John Hancock (1737-1793) was a Patriot man, President of the Continental Congress and a founding father that signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. Indeed, he was the first singer of the important document. Samuel Adams (1722-1803) was another Patriot that strongly opposed to the heavy taxation imposed by the British government and founded the Tea Party in Boston.
