Looks like distributive property 5 times 5 is 25, 5 times a -5i is -25i , 5i times 5 is positive 25i , 5i times 5i gives you ,  25 i squared , so now you combine like terms , you have 25 -25i + 25i - 25i squared , cross out -25i and the positive 25i anf your left with 25-25 squared .

A drumstick ice cream cone is 4 inches in diameter and has a height of 7 inches and filled with ice cream. The cone also has a s
Dovator [93]

Answer:

48.7 cube inches

Step-by-step explanation:

Let us assume that the ice cream filled the entire volume of the cone.

Diameter of cone = 4 inches

height of cone = 7 inches

diameter of a sphere of ice cream = 5 inches

Total amount of ice cream = volume of cone + volume of sphere

volume of cone = \frac{1}{3}\pir^{2}h

r = \frac{diameter}{2}

  = \frac{4}{2} = 2 inches

volume of the cone = \frac{1}{3} x \frac{22}{7} x 2 ^{2} x 7

                           = \frac{1}{3} x \frac{22}{7} x 4 x 7

                           = 29.3333 cube inches

volume of sphere = \frac{4}{3} \pir^{3}

r = \frac{diameter}{2}

  = \frac{5}{2} = 2.5 inches

volume of sphere ice cream = \frac{4}{3} x \frac{22}{7} x (\frac{5}{2} )^{3}

                                   =  \frac{4}{3} x \frac{22}{7} x \frac{125}{27}

                                   = 19.40 cube inches

So that,

Total amount of ice cream = 29.33 + 19.40

                                   = 48.7 cube inches

Carlos's father bought him a 18-foot board to cut into shelves for his bedroom. Carlos plans to cut the board into 7 equal size
IRINA_888 [86]
If he cuts the board into 7 pieces, that will require 6 cuts with his saw. Therefore, he will lose 6 * .125, or .75 feet for all of the cuts, resulting in 17.25 feet in total after the cuts.

Answer the following questions regarding the graphed inequality.
arsen [322]

Answer:

m = 0.5, b = 2, greater than symbol >

Step-by-step explanation:

Slope:

We can find the slope value by choosing two points on our line (the two green dots are already chosen for us) and dividing the vertical distance between the points (this is called the rise) by the horizontal distance between the points (this is called the run)

Rise ÷ Run

1 ÷ 2 = 0.5

Y-Intercept:

The y-intercept is where the line cuts through the vertical y-axis. We can see that this is at y = 2

Inequality:

The area above the line is shaded in. This is to show that all values greater than the line are applicable, so we will use the greater than symbol, >
