Silversmiths, glassmakers, and weavers are examples of ARTISANS. These are people in the skilled trade crafting things by hand. Artisans are very important during the colonial era because developments and technology came from them. They invented their own tools, mastered their use and made further improvements to make them the best. These artisans are in charge of helping the community by being the reliable source for tools and other trade items essential for the economy.
It has been predicted that this will be the worst economic downturn since 1929, but it will not be nearly as bad in my opinion. Right now, our government is doing its best to open up factories and businesses in attempt to save the economy and keep history from repeating itself.
