Answer:

The correct answer will be - Progesterone

Explanation:

The luteinizing hormone is a gonadotrophic hormone which is released by the anterior pituitary region of the brain.

The luteinizing hormone stimulates the release of ovum from the egg during the ovulatory phase and when the ovum is not fertilized leads to the degradation of the ovule or ovarian follicle forming corpus luteum.

The corpus luteum stimulates the secretion of the progesterone and oestradiol which inhibit the secretion of the luteinizing hormone. This inhibition of  Luteinizing Hormone stops ovulation.

Thus, Progesterone is the correct answer.

This information cannot be obtained from the text, and we need to access general knowledge: why carbon dioxide is harmful to the environment.

It is harmful, for example, because it is one of the greenhouse gases, that is a gas that traps the heat in the Earth's atmosphere and leads to a warming up of our planet (global warming). Earth's temperature should be balanced, because any changes can have catastrophic effects: warming of the planet leads to the melting of ice caps and can cause floods, for example

the diagram shows the movement of water through a plant which two terms or phrases describe the process shown
azamat

Answer:

B. Open Stomata

C. Transpiration

Explanation:

Even though plants take up a lot of water from their roots, they lose about 95% of it to the atmosphere in the process known as Transpiration.

Transpiration is done for several reasons: it cools the plant down, it enables plants to access the nutrients in the water as the water moves along the plant and it enables gaseous exchange.

The gaseous exchange happens because carbon dioxide comes in from the same holes on the leaf that the water leaves through to the atmosphere, the open stomata.
