That statement is false

Leading question refers to the question that is thrown out to obtain the answer that we want. If a mediator throw a leading question, both parties tend to directly blame each other which prevent the mediator to provide a solution. What the mediator should do is listening to both perspective first and used it as a basis to make a solution.
