Answer: Law of superposition

Law of superimposition is a principle of geology, which suggests that when the rocks gets weathered, the newly formed sediments acquire the top layers of the soil strata whereas, the old layers seeps inside the deeper or bottom layers. As, the bottom layers are covered with new layers of sediments. Hence, new layers are considered as young and bottom layers as old.

Therefore, according to the law or principle of superposition the top stratum in the section of rock is the youngest.

Some desert beetles can live without ever drinking liquid water. They survive on "metabolic water," which is water formed during
anygoal [31]

Answer:

Metabolic water is a water obtained from eating other organisms.

Explanation:

Water is a by product that is gained in the process of cellular respiration. In respiration process, food molecules are broken down in the mitochondria of the cell for generating energy in the form of Adenine tri phosphate (ATP). With this ATP, water and carbondioxide is also produced. Carbondioxide is removed from the body while water is used in different processes. So desert beetle takes water from eating food substances.
