When using science to investigate physical phenomena, the characteristic of the event that must exist is OBSERVABLE.

Scientific investigation is usually initiated when a scientist observed a phenomenon, which he did not have an explanation for. Observation is a very important principle in scientific investigation and usually give birth to hypothesis and experiments. When a scientist observed a phenomenon he does not have an answer to, he formulates a hypothesis about his observation and proceed to carry out experiments in order to determine whether his hypothesis is wrong or right.

Which two subatomic particles have the greatest mass?
denpristay [2]

Answer:

PROTON AND NEUTRON

Explanation:

  • The mass of proton is : 1.67*10^{-27}kg

A proton is one of the main particles that make up the atom . The other two particles are neutron and electron. Protons are found in the nucleus of the atom. This is a tiny , dense region at the centre of the atom. Protons have a positive charge of one (+1) and a mass of 1 atomic mass unit ( amu ) , which is about 1.67*10^{-27}kg. Together with neutrons , they make up virtually all of the mass of an atom.

  • The  mass of neutron is also approximately: 1.67*10^{-27}kg but a little more than that .

Atoms of all elements - except Hydrogen , have neutrons in their nucleus . Unlike protons and electrons , these have no charge - they are electrically neutral . The mass of a neutron is slightly greater than the mass of a proton but not very significant

During a laboratory experiment, you discover that an enzyme-catalyzed reaction has a ∆G of -20 kcal/mol. If you double the amoun
Dennis_Churaev [7]

Answer:

dG will be the same -20 kcal/mol

Explanation:

The dG can be expressed in terms of the G(products) - G(reactants). If the amount of enzyme is doubled the Gibbs energy of the reactants and products will be the same, so the substraction dG has the same value
