A unique decimal that I encounter regularly is "0.05". I encounter this almost every day, when I go to the store to buy something, the saleslady gives me $0.05 as change. When I go home and put some of my extra money in my piggy bank, I hold a $0.05 in my hand.

How do I find the maximum profit of -30x2+660x-1500
lina2011 [118]

Answer:

2,130

Step-by-step explanation:

1. solve for x.

x=-\frac{b}{2a}

when ax^{2} +bx+c

x=\frac{-660)}{2(-30)}\\\\x=\frac{-660)}{-60}\\\\x=11

2. place value for X into equation

y=-30x^{2} +660x-1,500\\y=-30(11)^{2} +660(11)-1,500\\y=-30(121)+7,260-1,500\\y=-3,630+7,260-1,500\\y=3,630-1,500\\y=2,130

Maximim profit is 2,130.
