A more fitting diagnostic test for ileitis would be blood exams such as CBC and platelet count, urinalysis (as UTI can present with signs and symptoms similar to ileitis), and a colonoscopy to directly visualize the rectum, large intestine, and the terminal ileum of the small intestine. </span>
