Answer:

The clue to find 'x' is-

  • As both, the lines here are intersecting at a point to form VERTICALLY OPPOSITE ANGLES.

According to this theory (2x+20)=60

So, (2x+20)=60

=  2x=60-20

=  2x= 40

=  x=40/2

=  x=20 degrees

The answer is A. or 20.

that angle is equal to the 60 degree angle. that means that angle also equals 60 degrees. 2(20) is 40 and 40 + 20 is 60

Kuta Software - Infinite Algebra 2 Name Systems of Two Equations Date Solve each system by graphing. 1) y=-3x + 4 y= 3x - 2 2) y
gogolik [260]

Answer:

Solution of the system of equations: (1, 1)

x = 1, y = 1

Explanation:

Given the below system of equations;

\begin{gathered} y=-3x+4 \\ y=3x-2 \end{gathered}

Note that the slope-intercept form of the equation of a line is given as;

y=mx+b

where m = slope of the line

b = y-intercept of the line

Comparing the given system of equations with the slope-intercept equation, we can see that, for the 1st equation (y = -3x + 4), the slope(m) = -3 and y-intercept(b) = 4 and for the 2nd equation, slope(m) = 3 and y-intercept(b) = -2.

Knowing the above information, let's go ahead and graph the system of equations;

From the above graph, the point of intersection of the two lines (1, 1) is the solution of the system of equation.

Korey kept track of the number of miles he ran each week for five weeks. The median number of miles he ran during the five weeks
ivolga24 [154]

Options:

A. 18, 20, 20, 22, 25

B. 20, 20, 20, 25, 25

C. 16, 19, 21, 22, 22

D. 20, 20, 21, 22, 22

Answer:

A. 18, 20, 20, 22, 25

Step-by-step explanation:

Required

Which list has a mean of 21 and median of 20

Each of the list have 5 numbers and they've all been sorted.

The median is the number at the 3rd position (i.e. the middle number)

So, list C and D are out because they do not have a median of 20.

Next, calculate the mean of lists A and B

\bar x = \frac{\sum x}{n}

A. 18, 20, 20, 22, 25

\bar x = \frac{18 + 20 + 20 + 22 + 25}{5}

\bar x = \frac{105}{5}

\bar x = 21

B. 20, 20, 20, 25, 25

 \bar x = \frac{20 + 20 + 20 + 25 + 25}{5}

\bar x = \frac{110}{5}

\bar x = 22

Only list A has a median value of 20 and a mean value of 21
