5 0

a) 0, 4, 8, 12, 16

explanation- simply add 4 to the previous number. 0+4= 4, 4+4= 8, 8+4= 12, etc etc.

b) 0, 8, 16, 24, 32

explanation- the same as letter a.

c) if you multiply the top number (the x value) by two, then you will get the bottom number (the y value)

explanation- 0+0= 0, 4+4= 8, 8+8= 16, 12+12= 24, and 16+16= 32

d) (0,0), (4,8), (8,16), (12,24), and (16,32)

explanation- the first number comes from the set in letter a (the x value) and the second number comes from the set in letter b (the y value).

e) -

explanation- find a spare piece of graph paper and put the points down. for example, (4,8) would be four places to the right on the horizontal line (the x-axis), and then down 8 places, still staying in the four postion. so four over, eight down. the vertical line is called the y-axis.

Hope this will help somewhat :)

Jim bought a round picnic table. The diameter of this table is 12. What is the area and circumference of Jim’s picnic table?
lianna [129]
The equation for area is pi times r^2.
Here the diameter is 12, so the radius would be 6. (Diameter is twice the radius.)
Substituted this is pi times 6^2.
The area for the picnic table is about 113.097
______________________________________

The equation for circumference is 2 times pi times r.
Substitute, 2 times pi times 6.
The circumference is about 37.699

I NEED HELP PLEASE, THANKS! Use Cramer's Rule to find the solution of the system of linear equations, if a unique solution exist
iren2701 [21]

Answer:

Option B

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following system of equations -

\begin{bmatrix}-5x+2y-2z=26\\ 3x+5y+z=-22\\ -3x-5y-2z=21\end{bmatrix}

Now by Cramer's Rule, we would first write down the matrix of the coefficients , replacing each column with the answer column -

\begin{bmatrix}-5&2&-2\\ 3&5&1\\ -3&-5&-2\end{bmatrix} ,

\begin{bmatrix}26\\ -22\\ 21\end{bmatrix}

Replace each column of the coefficients shown at the top, with the answer column at the bottom respectively -

\begin{bmatrix}-5&2&26\\ 3&5&-22\\ -3&-5&21\end{bmatrix}

Now solve through Cramer's Rule -

x = Dx / D = - 6,

y = Dy / D = - 1,

z = Dz / D = 1

<u><em>Solution = ( - 6, - 1, 1 ) = Option B</em></u>
