Answer:

The simplest right triangle is a 3-4-5 triangle which happens to add to 12.

So tangent of 4/3 = 1.33 or theta = 53.06  deg.

Also sin 4/5 = .8 and theta = 53.1 deg.

The other acute angle must be 180 - 90 - 53.5 = 36.5 deg.

Also tan 3/4 = .75 or theta = 36.9 deg   for the other angle.

Answer:

 Angles of the triangle are 90°, 50.77° and 39.23°.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the smallest side be x. Given that other sides are consecutive integers. So other sides are x+1 and x+2.

We have perimeter = 12 feet

So,    x + x + 1 + x + 2 = 12

        3x + 3 = 12

          x = 3 feet

So the sides of the triangle are 3, 4 and 5 feet.

We have cosine formula

     cosC =\sqrt{\frac{a^2+b^2-c^2}{2ab}}

Consider a = 3 , b = 4 and c = 5

       cosC=\sqrt{\frac{3^2+4^2-5^2}{2*3*4}}=0

        ∠C = 90°

Similarly

       cosB=\sqrt{\frac{3^2+5^2-4^2}{2*3*5}}=0.775

       ∠B = 39.23°

        ∠A = 180-(90+39.23) = 50.77°

Angles of the triangle are 90°, 50.77° and 39.23°.

m_a_m_a [10]

Explanation:

Steve correctly computed the change in x to be 2, and the change in y to be 6. However he put 2 in the slope formula for Δy (the change in y), and 6 for Δx. That is, Steve reversed the values of Δx and Δy.

The actual slope is ...

  slope = Δy/Δx = 6/2 = 3

Anna is swimming against the ocean current. The following equation models her speed: f(x) = x2 − 6x +1, where x is Anna's speed
REY [17]

Answer:

All real numbers

Step-by-step explanation:

we have the function

f(x)=x^2-6x+1

This is a vertical parabola open upward

The vertex represent a minimum

Remember that

The domain of a function is the set of all possible values of x

The quadratic functions are continuous and defined for all real values of x.

therefore

The domain of the function f(x) is the interval (-∞,∞)

That means

All real numbers

HELLO THERE!

(:

This is a problem that looks harder then it seems, First determine the cost of each item he is trying to buy. Then figure out the number of dollars he has to spend. Once you have figured that out you divide the cost into how much he has.

For example.
John has 10 dollars. He wants to buy pencils. Each pencil will cost john 2 Dollars. How many can he buy?

By dividing the cost of the pencils = 2 into the number of dollars he has 10 Divided by 2, we get 5.

Now it's your turn. Divide the number he has to spend by the price of the items. This will get you your answer!
Hope this helped!

Dafes stickball team has six players.how many different six player battling lineups can they make ifdave must bat second and eit
aalyn [17]
Let us name the players A,Dave,Zack,Paul,E and F
For the first position there are two candidades ( Zack / Paul )
For the second position there is only one candidate i.e. Dave
For the third place there will be 4 candidates (out of Zack and Paul - 1 as one of them is already taken for the first position and A, E and F total-4)
For the fourth place there will be 3 candidates ( out of the four available candidates in the 3rd place, one will be taken up for 3rd place )
For the fifth place there will be 2 candidates
Finally, for the last place there will be only one candidate left.
On multiplying the no. of available cadidates, we get 2 * 1 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1 = 48 i.e. option (A)
Please mention minor spelling mistakes
For the second question:
Let the no of dotted marbles be 'x' and no of striped marbles be 'y'
then the equation will become as follows
(y+6)/x = 3
and
(x+6)/y = (2/3)
On solving the equations, we will get x = 10 and y = 24
Total balls = 10+24+6 = 40 (option E)
Answer 3 will be ) For the first edge, he can choose 3 paths
For the second edge he can choose 2 paths for each path of its first edge's path
For the third , he is bounded to move on the paths created by the first and the second edges hence 1 path for each path created by the first and the second edge together
It will be multiplication of all the possibilities of the paths of the three edges differently.........
i.e. 3 * 2 * 1 = 6
