I think it's round.

Way to prove it -  Watch a ship sail off to sea

You can see how the earth's curvature like that. If it was flat, then you could still see the ship.

I'm not sure.....

Claim: Well scientists claim the shape of the earth is oblate spheroid. It's diameter is longer across the equator than between the poles. but this fact is never seen in photos taken from space. this is evidence that the scientists are lying to us!"

Fact: the difference only amounts to such a tiny difference will be apparent to our eyes. but if we do precise measurement, the difference is unmistakable.

How did racism affect the status of Africans in America?
DaniilM [7]
Throughout history African Americans have always been at the bottom of the totem pole in society. Racism is still alive and well but now its systematic. Since slavery, we have been deemed "Angry n*ggers" or "Salty" because till this day it is still ingrained into our minds as a whole. Most of the time our job applications are turned down due to our names not being proper enough for their liking. Black women are degraded in society; our natural hair isn't worshipped it is overlooked. So are our bodies and full lips. Not to mention all of the hatred we've been given over time such as Jim crow, slavery, segregated schools and neighborhoods. And last but not least, white privilege. The list goes on and on but these are just SOME of the problematic issues in our culture today. Also, being swagger jacked by white women wearing bamboo earrings. White's using the word "N*gga" and non black people of color using it as well. Whatever we have, they take. I hope this answers your question and gives you a little insight!

Select the correct answer.
BartSMP [9]

Answer:

D

Explanation:

Looking at the map, let's see if we can eliminate any of the answer choices.

A) "The Mongols captured most of the major countries in Europe."

Well, this is a map that shows Asian countries, not European countries, so we can't say anything about whether the Mongols captured the European countries or not. This is wrong.

B) "The Chagatai Khanate was more powerful than the Khanate of the Great Khan."

The peach-pink colour on the map represents the Chagatai Khanate empire, while the purple is the Khanate of the Great Khan. We can see that the purple area is much bigger than the peach-pink, so we can infer that actually the Great Khan was more powerful. B is wrong.

C) "The Mongols faced military defeats in Russia that limited their empire there."

Look at the expansion of the yellow area, which is the Golden Horde Khanate. It's stretching into Russia, and we can tell because it's very close to Moscow, the capital of Russia. So C is wrong.

D) "The Golden Horde Khanate did not have much exposure to trade along the Silk Road."

The Silk Road is represented by the red line, and we can see that it doesn't go through the yellow region (the Golden Horde Khanate) at all. Thus, we can infer that the Golden Horde Khanate didn't have much exposure to the Silk Road.

The answer is D.
