Lorena should probably try to create more ideas relevant to the subject and elaborate on them.

Explanation:

Lorena should add more material of her own in the speech. She should avoid repeating her examples or previous lines. By adding more sub-topics that are relevant to the topic, she will be able to talk on more than five minutes and educate the listeners with an expansion of the subject of her speech.

She can also try to present more examples that do not give away the impression of being monotonous in nature.

snow_tiger [21]

Cognitive dissonance, is a term used in psychology that explains the feeling of discomfort by a person who is facing two situations that contradict each other.

An example used to explain it, is the story of the fox who very much wants to eat a bunch of grapes that is in a very high place. As the Fox can not find a way to reach it, she gives up using the excuse that the grapes are green and bitter.

To alleviate cognitive dissonance, one can:

1- Change the behavior to relieve the situation of discomfort.

2- Try to justify the discomfort with new ideas

3- Justify the discomfort.

GaryK [48]

Religious literacy is understanding and interpreting the religious texts without any outside help.

Explanation:

Stephen Prothero is one of the leading religious scholars in the US who derives his thought from the tenets of Protestantism as Martin Luther envisioned it.

One of the biggest tenets is for a person to understand and work their own religion. All religious people must know and understand their texts and be able to interpret it by themselves without any outside help being needed.

This is to prevent god men and scholars to take over their religious practices and being able to be professing their religion.
