The correct answer to this open question is the following.

There are advantages and disadvantages to being an internal and external consultant. An internal consultant knows the company and the operations very well. It has some familiarity with people, systems, and processes. However, this makes it being subjective in its observations. AS an external consultant, you do not have this familiarity, but you are 10 percent objective, which means that you do not have biased in your observations and interpretations.

I think the role that is easier is the internal consultant because it knows the operation of the company. However, as I stated above, that element has its disadvantages.

The role I think I would prefer with no doubt is to be an external consultant. For me, this role would be more rewarding because I can be objective in my evaluation and recommendations.

garik1379 [7]

Answer:

$34,500

Explanation:

Calculation to determine total revenues for the year

Using this formula

Total revenues=Increase in Assets+Decreased in liabilities+Dividends+Expenses

Let plug in the formula

Total revenues=($11,000-$19,000)+($9,000-$7,500)+$4,000+$21,000

Total revenues=$8,000+$1,500+$4,000+$21,000

Total revenues=$34,500

Therefore total revenues for the year is $34,500

Answer:

C) The court will apply the predominant-purpose test to determine whether the predominant purpose of the contract was the sale of goods in which case the UCC would apply.

Explanation:

From the case it is clear that the contract happens between Beau and the Manager of XYZ is of selling the carpet only. The service on the other hand, is not a department of UCC. The service contracts are department of common law whereas sales of goods law is applied to UCC or Uniform Commercial Code. So, except this option, all other options are false.
