  • Biological Hazards: Associated with a person working with animals,people or infectious plant materials.Work in daycare facilities,colleges, universities,nursing homes will expose the person  to biological hazards.Types of things include bacteria, viruses, plants,insect bites etc.
  • Physical Hazards: These are the factors  present within the environment which can harm the body without touching it.This include radiations,constant loud noise,extreme temperatures etc.
  • Ergonomic Hazards: These occurs when the type of work, body posture as well as working conditions  put a strain on the body.These include: frequent lifting,poor posture,repetitive movements,vibrations & improperly adjusted workstations & chairs.
  • Chemical Hazards: When a person is exposed to the chemicals in a workplace in any form( solid,liquid & gas). These include: pesticides, vapours& fumes, gases(helium,carbon monoxide etc.)
  • Work Organization Hazards: These include flexibility,sexual harassments,workload demands,lack of respect & Workplace violence.
