Can anyone plzzz help me with this asap!!!
MaRussiya [10]
Answer: -9, -6, -3, 0, 3

EXPLANATION
Y = 3x - 3

So we need to plug in x.

X = -2 so

Y= 3(-2) -3

3 x -2 is -6

-6 - 3 is -9

So now we have y = -9

-9 is the first y value

Now x = -1

Y = 3(-1) -3

3 x -1 is -3

-3 - 3 = -6

The second y value is -6

Now x is 0

Y = 3(0) - 3

3 x 0 = 0

0 - 3 = -3

The third y value is -3

That’s all I’m going to do cause I think you get it by now and you can see the pattern, it’s going up be three. Hope this helps

Dorothy and Rosanne are baking cookies for a party. Working alone, Rosanne can finish the cookies in 6 hours. Dorothy can finish
garik1379 [7]

Answer:

It will take them 3.43 hours.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let T denote the total cookies that need to be cocked. Observe that:

  1. If Rosanne finishes the cookies in 6 hours, that means that she can make \frac{T}{6} cookies per hour.
  2. If Dorothy finishes the cookies in 8 hours, that means that she can make \frac{T}{8} cookies per hour.

Then, by 1) and 2), if they work together would we able to make

\frac{T}{6}+\frac{T}{8}=\frac{8T+6T}{48}=\frac{14}{48}T=\frac{7}{24}T

cookies per hour.

Therefore, in order to finish the T cookies they will need \frac{24}{7}\approx3.43 hours

astraxan [27]
Kelly invested $1,500 in the stock market on January 1 She lost 1/3 of it by the end of January or that is: (1/3)*1500 = $500 the remaining amount is 1500 - 500 = $1,000 she lost 2/5 of the remaining amount by the end of February: (2/5)1000 = $400 what is left is: 1000 - 400 = $600.
