Calvin Coolidge was in office as president from 1923 to the spring of 1929. In that period of the "Roaring Twenties," the country experienced great economic success -- in between the brief depression that followed World War I and the Great Depression that began with the stock market crash that occurred in the fall of 1929.
The development of farming was crucial to the formation of civilization since this allowed for there to be a surplus of food, which meant that people could devote themselves to other tasks and skills that are necessary for society to form.
Answer: On February 5, 1937, President Franklin Roosevelt announces a controversial plan to expand the Supreme Court to as many as 15 judges, allegedly to make it more efficient. Critics immediately charged that Roosevelt was trying to “pack” the court and thus neutralize Supreme Court justices hostile to his New Deal.
The passage of the GI Bill changed American cities and towns in that it gave returning veterans more economic opportunities, which allowed them to leave the cities.
