During the debate over the Constitution, which party argued for strong, independent states?
-Dominant- [34]

Answer:

The answer is D. the Anti-Federalist Party

Explanation:

They feared the authority of a single national government, upper-class dominance, inadequate separation of powers, and loss of immediate control over local affairs. Also, they opposed the ratification of the 1787 Constitution. But, even though the Constitution was passed Anti-Federalist influence helped lead to the passage of the United States Bill of Rights.

What were some of the outcomes of pearl harbor attack?
Elza [17]
One outcome of the Pearl Harbor attack was an atrocious destruction of an large portion of our naval ships anchored there, along with the horror of a very large number of our navy's seamen . Another outcome was the realization by American armed forces and navy personnel that we had been lax in awareness and had we  not been too relaxed at the time, this attack by the Japanese may well have been thwarted at the least. Lastly, a major outcome of the Pearl Harbor attack was that America was furious and declared  war - after which America began producing  arms and preparing for battles with all haste.

What could be a problematic effect of granting States to much power to pass their own laws?
Flura [38]
Laws would vary from one State to the other, which would make it difficult to adhere to if you're not from that State. Also, politics would play into effect. I'd like to use the American Civil War as an example; some states were for Slavery, meanwhile others sided on the abolishment side. That could come into play here, and that could be extremely dangerous.

Use the map below to answer the following question:
katrin [286]
The correct answer is "an area of Soviet-aligned nations following WWII."

This is evident from the map based on the information provided in the key. In the key it states that the purple area symbolizes "Socialist FR of Yugoslavia: USSR aligned until 1948." Considering that World War II ends in 1944, this shows that this area was indeed aligned with the Soviet Union after World War II.
