Answer: The correction answer is: "The legislature is the upper house in each state."

Explanation:

The legislature or state legislature is the government entity in charge of legislation in each of the 50 states. In 49 states the legislature is bicameral, Nebraska is the only state with an unicameral legislature. Bicameral means that they have an upper house and a lower house quite similar to the United States Congress in what they look like. They have similar responsibilities than the U.S. congress but at a state level.

Kruka [31]

Answer:

True.

Explanation:

Agenda-setting theory is a social science theory which attempts to make predictions regarding the influence of the media. It describes the ability of news media to influence the important topics on the public agenda.

This theory argues that the news media has a great influence on the audience by covering some news more frequently and prominently, thus making the audience think of it as more important.

Nevertheless, news media does not operate within a vacuum. Policy makers and participation of the public have an important role when it comes to the decision of what makes public priorities. Therefore the society is active in building the setting and making a causal relationship with the media which then is reshaping the agenda-setting.

What is the difference between equity and equality in society? Give an example of each. State which you believe to be more desir
Salsk061 [2.6K]
Equality is giving everyone the same amount of something. Equity is giving those who are in need more of something in order to help them be equal with others. For example, an equalist will give everyone the same amount of food regardless of their size. An equitist, on the other hand, will give food in accordance to one's size. In my opinion, both have their pros and cons.
