Answer: So they want you to find out the perimeter of the area!(8a so 8 times 2 is 16 times 3 is 48! Same-thing with the next one expect you divide 6 and 6 which is 1 and then since it says BY you multiple by 5. wich will give you 5.

Step-by-step explanation: Honestly i kind of explained it already! GOOD LUCK!!!!

Answer:

8a = 26 yards

8b = 32 ft and 6 inch

Step-by-step explanation:

so 1 yard = 3 feet so 8x3= 24+2= 26

now multi. 26 by 3 = 78 then convert it to yards so divided it by 3 to get 26

1 ft = 12 inch so (6x12)+6= 78 inchs no times by 5 to get 390 inch

now divided by 12 to convert ur answer back to ft --->  390/12

32ft and 6 inch

How do I solve P=2L+2W for L
Natasha_Volkova [10]
You need to get L by itself. Keep in mind with equality problems that what you do to one side, you must do to the other.
Let me break it down for you.
P=2L+2W, -2w from both sides.
P-2W=2L, now divide the other side by 2.
1/2P-W=L

The results of a test of a metal are shown in the table, with strain in meters per meter, andstress in units called megapascals,
shusha [124]

a.

b.

The metal obey this law for values of strain until 0.05, where we have a linear relationship (each increase of 0.01 in the strain causes an increase of 100 in the stress). After this point, we don't have a linear relationship anymore.

c. Since an increase of 0.01 in the strain causes an increase of 100 in the stress, the slope is:

m=\frac{100}{0.01}=10000

Now, calculating the coefficient b (y-intercept), we have:

\begin{gathered} (0.01,100)\colon \\ 100=0.01\cdot10000+b \\ 100=100+b \\ b=0 \end{gathered}

So the equation is:

y=10000x

d.

The maximum value of stress is 560, and occurs at strain = 0.07.
