The Warring States period (481/403 BCE - 221 BCE) describes the three centuries when various rival Chinese states battled viciously for territorial advantage and dominance. Ultimately the Qin state was victorious and established the first unified Chinese state. Besides incessant warfare, and probably because of it, the period saw significant developments in society, commerce, agriculture, philosophy, and the arts, setting the foundations for the subsequent flourishing of Imperial China. It when Yahweh called out to Moses in Mount Sinai to free the Hebrews from slavery by the Egyptians. After 300 years or so, Yahweh finally stretched his hands to carry the Hebrews from bondage. Yahweh commanded Moses and called his brother Aaron and both of them have gone to Egypt. In the course of the Pharaoh's insistence on not to free the Hebrews. Yahweh brought the seven plagues amongst the Egyptians. After the last plague, in which the Pharaoh's son died. He finally freed the Hebrews from the captivity. Later, when the Pharaoh's still went after the Hebrews when the Red Sea opened up the way for the Hebrews and the a great fire went upon the Pharaoh's until the Hebrews were able to cross the sea and when they caught while in the middle of the water the sea covered them and finally the Hebrews went to safety and journeyed to the Promised Land given to them by Yahweh.
