Answer:

the first and fourth are correct, the second and third are not correct

Step-by-step explanation:

if you plug in the numbers as x and y, then you need to see if they add up to thirteen. So you would multiply the first number in each perenthesis by two and the second by nine, and then if when you add the two of them together, it is equal to the number after the equal sign (13, in this case), you would answer yes, but if it's not, you would answer no.

The pic is the question
Shtirlitz [24]
The answer is C
Because you have to add them all up. So add the 1/3 and 2/3 which equals 3/3 which is equal to 1. So then you add the 1/6 which equals 2/6 which is equivalent to 1/3 then you add that 1/3 to the last 1/3 which also equals 2/6 and as we established that equals 1/3 so the answer is 1 and 1/3.

Can polynomials have odd roots (like f(x)= cube root of x)?? Fast!! I’ll give branliest!
hodyreva [135]

I think you're asking if it's possible to have a cube root, fifth root, 7th root, etc of a number as a solution to f(x). The answer is yes it's possible.

-----------

Example:

f(x) = x^3 - 29

This function has one real-number root of x = \sqrt[3]{29} (cube root of 29) and the other two roots are complex or imaginary roots.
