so here one way you can find the slope
i usually always use this to help me to keep it in order

(X1,Y1)(X2,Y2)
X2-X1
Y2-Y1
use this and your garanteed to get the right answer everytime
------------------
X = -2 – 1 = -3
Y = -7 – -19 = 12
once you do that you divide if possible
12/-3
