So the amount needed=area of circle times height
area formula=pi times radius^2
height=3/4
so
pi=aprox 3.14
radius=7
3.14 times 7^2
3.14 times 49
153.86
times 3/4
115.395 in^3
answer is 115.4 cubic inches
Kaia found a common dividend (if thats the right word), a common factor that both could be divided by, and then did the distributive property backwards pretty much, taking out that common factor from each. You can't use it on that last one because eleven is a prime number (unable to be divided by anything other than one and itself), so the two numbers won't have a common dividor number thingy.
