$7.87+$46.32=$54.19.  If you multiply 46.32 by 0.17, 17%, it is 7.87 so you just add that to the original bill, 46.32

18x + 28 is the perimeter

Step-by-step explanation:

As perimeter is the som of all side

So    P = 6x+8 + 3x+6 + 6x+5 + 2x+2 + 3 + x+4

          = 6x+3x+6x+2x+x + 8+6+5+2+3+4

David and Eric each shot 6 arrows at the target shown. David shot 4 arrows into A and 2 into B. His score was 18 points. Eric sh
liq [111]
Lets write an equation for each guy's shots and score:
4A + 2B = 18
3A + 3B = 21
To solve we multiply the first equation by -3 and the second by 2:
-12A - 6B = -54
  6A + 6B = 42
--------------------
-12A + 0 = -12
A = 1
to find B we substitute in the first equation:
<span>4A + 2B = 18
</span><span>4(1) + 2B = 18
</span><span>4 + 2B = 18
</span>2B = 14
B = 7
therefore there were given 7 points in an arrow in B

PLEASE HELP!! I’m very confuse
SVETLANKA909090 [29]

Given:

A(16, 4)

B(34, 40)

Line segment AB partition in the ratio 1 : 5.

To find:

The coordinate of a point that partitions AB.

Solution:

Section formula:

$P(x,y)=\left(\frac{m x_{2}+n x_{1}}{m+n}, \frac{m y_{2}+m y_{1}}{m+n}\right)

Here x_1=16, y_1=4, x_2=34, y_2=40 and m = 1, n = 5

$P(x,y)=\left(\frac{1\times 34+5 \times 16}{1+5}, \frac{1\times 40+5 \times4}{1+5}\right)

$P(x,y)=\left(\frac{ 34+80}{6}, \frac{40+20}{6}\right)

$P(x,y)=\left(\frac{ 114}{6}, \frac{60}{6}\right)

$P(x,y)=(19, 10)

The coordinate of point that partitions the segment AB is (19, 10).

There are exactly 2.54 centimeters in 1 inch. When using this conversion factor, how many significant figures are you limited t
IgorC [24]

Significant figures tells us that about how may digits we can count on to be precise given the uncertainty in our calculations or data measurements.

Since, one inch  = 2.54 cm.

This is equivalent as saying that 1.0000000.. inch = 2.540000... cm.

Since the inch to cm conversion doesn't add any uncertainty, so we are free to keep any and all the significant figures.

Since, being an exact number, it has an unlimited number of significant figures and thus when we convert inch to cm we multiply two exact quantities together. Therefore, it will have infinite number of significant figures.
