A process in which two objects are placed together touching each other when they have different temperatures then heat will travel from warm object to cooler object.
And a fluid which when heated then warm material (less dense) will sink at the bottom and cooler material (more dense) will rises at the top then this intermixing of fluids causes convection currents. Hence, this process is known as convection.
So, when hot metal bowl is placed on a wooden table then due to conduction process heat will travel to the wooden table. This will cause collisions between metal and wood molecules raising the kinetic energy.
Hence, we can conclude that collisions between the metal and the wood raise the kinetic energy of the wood molecules best describes why the table becomes warm.
n the winter, Earth tilts away from the Sun. In North America, around June 21, Earth tilts on its axis toward the Sun. This is called the summer solstice, and it is when the Northern Hemisphere has the most daylight of any time of the year.
