Grit means that I stick to it, get it done successfully, and turn problems into possibilities. The integrity part is a real must for school

and for my future career in early childhood. By ensuring that I do my own work and give credit for other people’s work when I

should, I can do well in class and establish the trust that my future employers will want. All these are part of the overall concept of

growth mindset that we’ve learned about in this class. But a growth mindset, as opposed to a closed mindset, means that I must be

open to challenges, knowing that I can turn any problem into an opportunity. This allows me to have a different view on the things
