How to solve 7m + 2n = 21 and 10m + 4n = -10 using substitution. Step by step please and thank you!
ryzh [129]
7m+2n=21
-7m      -7m

<u>2n</u>=<u>21-7m</u>
2        2

n=<u>21-7m
</u>       2
<u>
</u>10m+4(21-7m/2)= -10
<u />-10m                   -10m

4(21-7m/2)= -10-10m

(84-28m/2)= -10-10m
    x2                x2

84-28m    = -20-20m
+20+28m   +20+28m

<u>104</u> = <u>8m
</u>8         8

m=13

10(13) + 4n = -10
-130              -130

<u>4n</u> = <u>-140
</u>4         4
<u>
</u>n= -35

Is a=3 b=4 c=2 and d=-2 find the value of 3b²c-2ad <br>And ac-bd/7
irina [24]
3b^2c-2ad=3*16*2-(2*3*-2)=108
ac-bd/7=3*2-(4*-2)/7=50/7 but if you mean (3*2-(4*-2))/7=2

Engineers measure angles in gradients, which are smaller than degrees. The table shows the conversion of some angle measures in
loris [4]
The table showing the conversion of angle measure in degrees to angles in gradients is attached below.

In order to find the slope we divide the difference of two y-coordinates (or dependent variable which in this case is gradient measure) by the difference of two respective x-coordinates (or independent variable which in this case is degree measure).

For finding the slope we will use the first and the last point given in the table. So, the slope m will be given by:

m= \frac{300-(-200)}{270-(-180)}  \\  \\ &#10;m= \frac{500}{450} \\  \\ &#10;m=1.11

So rounding of to nearest hundredth, the slope of line representing the conversion of degrees to gradients is 1.11
