To get the answer to this problem, first we have to subtract the marked up cost to the cost of the product. So we first minus 25.3 and 22.25. When we do this, we will get a difference of 3.05. This is the profit that you will earn. So after that, we have to divide 3.05 and 25.30 to get the mark up percentage. When we do this, we will get an answer of 0.12. So in order to convert that into a percentage, we just have to multiply it by 100 and we will get 12%.

During the summer , you want to earn at least $150 per week. You can earn$10 per hour working for a farmer, and $5 per hour baby
almond37 [142]
X = nr. hrs working for a farmer;
y = nr. hrs. babysitting;
x + y <= 25;
10x + 5y >= 150

a) Solve the system => one of the solution is  x =5; y = 20(babysitting)
b) 10 + 12 =22 <= 25; 10*10 + 5*12 = 160 >=150.

2 Given: a = a + d(n - 1) What is the 10th term of the arithmetic sequence if a, = 16 and d = -3? A-11 B -14 C 48 D -15
yan [13]
Arithmetic sequence

Given

a_n=a_1+d\mleft(n-1\mright)

where

a₁ = 16 and d = -3

We want to find the 10th term of the sequence, this means: we want to find a₁₀.

Since aₙ, for a₁₀ n = 10. Then we replace in the equation:

a₁ = 16, d = -3 and n = 10.

\begin{gathered} a_n=a_1+d\mleft(n-1\mright) \\ \downarrow \\ a_{10}=16-3(10-1) \\ a_{10}=16-3\cdot9=16-27 \\ a_{10}=-11 \end{gathered}

Answer: A. -11
