The scientific method is a planned and ordered procedure that is used to explore observations and answer questions. The scientific method is a series of steps that include; (i) Purpose or asking a question, (ii) conducting research (iii) Proposing a hypothesis (iv) Designing and performing an experiment to test the hypothesis (v) Recording of observation and data analysis (vi) Conclusion. The steps of the scientific method might be repeated at any point during the process as a result of new information or observation.
