In fact, Vermont had already ended slavery by 1777 before it included into the United States of America, making it the first state to do it before joining the United States of America. This was followed by other states vowing to eliminate slavery. The Declaration for Independence was mostly supported Vermont in abolishing slavery.

Most of the northern states placed their votes across their borders to destroy this slavery action. This was followed by the African American people too by trying to start their living as free people by trying to get educated.  Also, formed the community to provide cultural development and support to social welfare in the 19th century half.
