The Aztec and the Maya lived in Mesoamerica, where the cultures had a close contact, and there was a lot of borrowing and adoption, so the Aztecs must have adopted many such aspects!

But I think perhaps the best known is the Maya calendar, which the Aztecs adopted, but changed some names for the days and months.
