The success of both would be strongly contributed to by a great deal of luck to begin with. This luck pertains to having the right conditions under which to produce the food and water necessary to support large civilizations and communities. The power and force to gain large areas of land to be drawn into the civilization. The power and force to keep control of neighboring captured and incorporated lands. The dedication of the people, normally gained by having the power and force to provide them with safe and contented lives without worry of invasion and destruction. Without such power and growing force (military) the civilization would have been a single community or oasis in the desert.

Seeing that the fledgling civilization would survive, there was a need for accounting for all the food and supplies collected from the outer regions so they invented writing and a written record to keep track with. This forced organization and removed a great deal of chance related to luck and thus yielded a stronger and more powerful nation. With which more land could be conquered and absorbed into the realm of the nation.

Why would nationalism lead
alexdok [17]

The answer to the question about why would nationalism lead to intolerance and persecution of other ethnic or national groups is explained below.

Explanation:

When a nation promotes its own interests, over the interests of other nations, it is called as nationalism. Nationalism creates a feeling of inferiority within the minorities of a country, which may lead to intolerance among them.

Countries usually contain diverse group of people, who are from different backgrounds, ethnicity, etc. Large group of people in a country or region creates pride among them of their sharing of common heritage, history, backgrounds, ethnicity, etc. This thing may leave many minorities alone and make them feel inferior in the same region or country, which would no doubt lead to intolerance among them.

babymother [125]

Answer:

The false statement about John B. Watson is the one that says that he worked with Edward C. Tolman to prove that fear is both an instinct and a reflex.

Explanation :Although he worked on the subject through the Little Albert Experiment, he did not work with Edward C. Tolman but with Rosalie Rayner, his assistant and later couple.

In the experiment, Watson intended to demonstrate how the principles of classical conditioning, which had just been raised by Ivan Pavlov in those years, could be applied to a child's fear reaction to a white rat.
