Location and climate (but more the climate)affect the natural resources one has (and if they have then in abundance, they can sell them, just like Russia is selling its) and one needs (and UK, as an Island needs to import some goods that it does not produce. - you could say the climate affects what is traded, and location how it's trated: UK as an island needs to rely on trade by sea routes to a great degree, while Russia can use land transport more.

kipiarov [429]
Deception occurs in research when participants are misinformed or misled about the method and purposes of the study. This should be avoided at all costs because it is unethical and morally ambiguous. Researchers have to tell their participants exactly what the research is about and what it will involve, and they are virtually forbidden from deceiving them otherwise.

Charra [1.4K]

A surrogate key may be appropriate when the available candidate keys would produce a lot of data duplication when representing relationships and they would be prone to typographical errors.

Answer: Option 3

Explanation:

In a fact table, sometimes there may be a few keys that would repeat the data over and over again. Thus to avoid this repetition or duplication, surrogate keys may be used instead of other candidate keys.

In most instances, surrogate keys are nothing else but the integer keys. They are mostly used as primary keys instead of using a natural or a real key in its place. The function of a surrogate key is to serve as a numeric identifier.
