-3.3=\frac{x}{5} +9.2
5(-3.3)=5( \frac{x}{5} +9.2)
5(-3.3)= \frac{5x}{5} *9.2
Simplify:5
5(-3.3)=x+5*9.2
-16.5=x+5*9.2
-16.5=x+46
x=-16.5-46
x=-62.5

The answer is: -62.5

Write the number five million four thousand three hundred in standard form
valentinak56 [21]

Written numerically, the number you stated is written as:

5,004,300

Standard Form (Scientific Notation) numbers are written as a decimal (n.m) such that there is [normally] only one digit (n) to the left of the decimal point, and the rest of the number (m) to the right (with a possible limit). If there is only a single digit in the whole number then the value on the right is a zero (n.0).

To show that the value shown has shifted its decimal point position, the number of decimal positions shifted is shown after the number as a 10’s multiplied to the power of the number of positions shifted.

e.g., 102 = 102.0 = 1.02 (decimal point shifted left two places. If smallest digit is 0 then ignore it UNLESS it’s the ONLY digit!!)

1.02*10^2(2 Decimal shift to the left)

1.02*10^2

So, for the number asked in the question:

5,004,300 = 5,004,300.0

Left shift 6 times to largest digit = 5.004300

5.004300 (show the shift multiplier: 10^6)

5.004300*10^6

Can someone help me with this i got the question wrong the first time so its not 7.50
Sedaia [141]

Answer: $7.6502

Step-by-step explanation:

Grape cost $1.19 per pound. 3.16 pounds are bought. The total amount paid for grape will be:

= $1.19 × 3.16

= $3.7604

Peaches cost $1.29 per pound. 1.35 pounds are bought. The total amount paid for peaches will be:

= $1.29 × 1.35

= $1.7415

Peers cost $0.99 per pound. 2.17 pounds are bought. The total amount paid for pears will be:

= $0.99 × 2.17

= $2.1483

Total bill paid will be:

= $3.7604 + $1.7415 + $2.1483

= $7.6502

Consider the graph of function f. Find the average rate of change for f on the interval [P,Q]
Ulleksa [173]

Check the picture below.

\bf slope = m = \cfrac{rise}{run} \implies \cfrac{ f(x_2) - f(x_1)}{ x_2 - x_1}\impliedby \begin{array}{llll} average~rate\\ of~change \end{array}\\\\[-0.35em] \rule{31em}{0.25pt}\\\\ f(x)= \qquad \begin{cases} x_1=1\\ x_2=3 \end{cases}\implies \cfrac{f(3)-f(1)}{3-1}\implies \cfrac{(5)-(-1)}{3-1} \\\\\\ \cfrac{5+1}{2}\implies \cfrac{6}{2}\implies 3
