11.what error did the Japanese make in their attack on Pearl Harbor and how did this harm their ultimate military strategy?
mina [271]

Answer:

Their goal was to destroy the military base at Pearl Harbor. While major destruction was inflicted onto the Pacific fleet, it would not do as much damage as the Japanese would plan to do. Ultimately this would allow for a speedier recovery of the Pearl Harbor base and allow the United States to maintain a good control of the island of Hawaii.

How was simon seen as the religious person in lord of the flies?
Finger [1]
It was a long time ago for me but from what I remember he was a God like being just think of his name SIMON is a biblical name he also goes to the forest I think to do something I forgot what but he tells the group not to fall asleep just like Jesus did he went out to the garden to pray and told his disciples not to fall asleep and when SImon (lord of the flies) and Jesus (Bible)  both come back they are all asleep also he is killed just like Jesus although the boys didn't know they were killing Simon because it was dark and lastly when he Is dead his feet go up a little I think that could be considered supernatural like Jesus

Mark the statement if it accurately describes Isaac Newton’s achievements.
ziro4ka [17]
Let's look at all the claims:

.
A. He was a professor of mathematics at Cambridge University.
- yes, this it true! (his position was called Lucasian Professor of Mathematics)

B. In his book, Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy, Newton laid out three laws of motion that are still the basis for studying how things move.
- this is correct! those laws are known as Newton's laws of motion.

C.As Newton went on developing his ideas in astronomy, mathematics, and physics, he became very unpopular and was often ridiculed for his works.
-this is a complicated question: Newton's work was accepted, but he had a difficult personality, which made him rather unpopular- so I would mark the whole statement as also true.
