To self-examine the breast you need to follow three main steps which include observing in front of the mirror, standing and touching the chest and lie down and touch the breast

1. In front of the mirror :

To make the observation in front of the mirror you must remove all clothes and observe following the following scheme:

  • First, watch with your arms down;
  • Then raise your arms and observe your breasts;
  • Finally, it is advisable to place your hands resting on the pelvis, pressing to see if there is any change in the surface of the breast.

During observation it is important to evaluate the size, shape and color of the breasts as well as swellings, bumps, bumps or roughness. If there are changes that were not present in the previous exam or if there are differences between the breasts it is recommended to consult the gynecologist or a mastologist.

2. Standing and touching the chest:

In this form, the self-examination should be done during bathing with wet body and soapy hands. For this you must:

  • Raise the left arm, placing the hand behind the head
  • Carefully palpate the left breast with the right hand using circular motions
  • Repeat these steps for the right breast.

3. Lie down and touch the breast :

To do the self-examination lying down:

  • Lie down and put your left arm at the nape of your neck
  • Put a pillow or towel under your left shoulder to be more comfortable
  • Palpate the left breast with the right hand

These steps should be repeated on the right breast to complete the evaluation of both breasts. If it is possible to feel changes that were not present in the previous exam it is recommended to consult the gynecologist to make diagnostic exams and identify the problem.

Which of these statements would be true if the water molecule was linear instead of bent? Check all that apply.
zavuch27 [327]

If the water molecule was linear instead of bent, water would no longer produce hydrogen bonds. It will lose its polar properties and nearly all of its properties will change such as boiling point, water tension and solubility. It would be closer to gas, rather than liquid.
