Answer:

Public Policies are the actions of any government, issued by it, that seeks to respond to the various demands of society. They are understood as the strategic use of resources to alleviate national problems.

Public Policies have to do with people's access to goods and services. They consist of rules and actions that aim to solve and respond to the multiplicity of needs, interests and preferences of groups and people that make up a community. So that in the end, the solutions found allow people and groups to coexist despite their differences.

Explanation:

An example of successful public policy is the recovery of the historical heritage of the province of Santa Fe: This Market was opened in 1929 and for many years survived as a space for retail stores. It was the epicenter of the lives of immigrants of the beginning of the century. However, after the 2001 crisis, the market was losing importance. The building was deteriorating, the municipality neglected it and lost a lot of ground in front of the supply of supermarkets. In 2007 it closed.

However, in 2009 the municipality won a project to recover it and obtained financing from EuropeAid. Subsequently, the architectural recovery of the central and interior nave began with original materials. The premises outside the market are already inaugurated. The project also includes the transfer of the know-how of its recovery to municipal markets in other cities.

Treasury bill return - 4%

Market risk premium - 13%

Formula for taking out cost of equity -

Return on treasury bill + Beta x Market risk premium

= .04 + .104

= .144

Multiplying by 100 to make it in percentage

Expected sales quantity             90,000               18,000             108,000

Sales                                    $13,500,000     $12,240,000     $25,740,000

Less: Variable costs               8,100,000         7,344,000        15,444,000

Segment margin                $4,200,000       $3,936,000       $8,136,000

Less:Common fixed costs                                                         1,500,800

Operating income                                                                  $6,635,200

Selling price per unit                  $150                   $680 ($12,240,000/18,000)

Variable costs per unit                $90                   $408 ($7,344,000/18,000)

Contribution margin                    $60                   $272 ($680 - $408)

Contribution margin ratio for the company = 40% ($10,296,000/$25,740,000 x 100)

ASC Topic 235, Notes to Financial Statements
Nutka1998 [239]

Answer: d. Requires description of all significant accounting policies to be included as an integral part of the financial statements.

Explanation:

There are several accounting and valuation policies that a company can use when presenting its financial information for the year. Companies are meant to follow the policies that would most fairly represent their assets and liabilities.

When they pick these valuation methods, it is important that the people who study their financial statements know the valuation and accounting methods used so that they can understand the figures.

To this end, ASC Topic 235 requires that the company should include the significant accounting policies that it used as notes so that financial statement users understand how the company reached the figures it recorded.
