Pandora is a goddess (if we're talking about the same Pandora) and she's the goddess of misfortune. I would assume that the political cartoon would be showing that whomever was "running" for whatever position was a mistake.

<em>The </em>is a determiner, <em>pink </em>is an adjective, <em>pig </em>is a noun, <em>clapped </em>is a verb, <em>wildly </em>is an adverb.
<span>i would think Might makes right. these were not highly educated people. I doubt they would understand the other alternatives you offered. But if you could put the ideas into simple words they might. But then would it be your understanding or the characters?
