<u>ANSWER: </u>

The print company requires 78960 pages per day.

<u>SOLUTION: </u>

Given, a print company takes 47 orders every 0.5 hours.

The average order is for 35 pages.

We need to find how many sheets of paper does the company need per day?

Now, let us calculate the total orders per day.

Orders per day = number of time intervals x number of orders in that time.

= \frac{24 hours}{0.5} \times 47 orders

= 48 x 47  = 2256

So, in a day, company takes 2256 orders.

And, each order requires 35 pages on an average.

So, pages required in one day = number of orders x number of pages per order.

= 2256 x 35  = 78960 pages

Hence, the company requires 78960 pages per day.

Rewrite each expression as a polynomial in standard form: x^2-5x+6 ÷ x-3 + x^3-1 ÷ x-1
iragen [17]

Answer:

So in standard form equation will be x^2+2x-1

Step-by-step explanation:

We have given expression \frac{x^2-5x+6}{x-3}+\frac{x^3-1}{x-1}

Let first we solve first part of the expression

So \frac{x^2-5x+6}{x-3}=\frac{x^2-3x-2x+6}{x-3}=\frac{(x-3)(x-2)}{x-3}=x-2

Now second part \frac{x^3-1}{x-1}

We know the algebraic identity a^3-b^3=(a-b)(a^2+ab+b^2)

So by using this identity

\frac{x^3-1}{x-1}=\frac{(x-1)(x^2+x+1)}{x-1}=x^2+x+1

Now adding first and second part

x-2+x^2+x+1=x^2+2x-1

So in standard form equation will be x^2+2x-1

What is the answer? I find this very confusing for me.
vichka [17]

Answer:

19

Step-by-step explanation:

If you want to find the answer of the equation, sub the given information into it:

z + xz + y

we know that:

x = 5

y = 1

z = 3

We got:

= 3 + 5*3 + 1

= 3 + 15 + 1

= 19

Hope this helped :3

2. You deposited money into an account that pays 3.425% interest
Assoli18 [71]

Answer:

t=20.24 years

Step-by-step explanation:

-Continuous compounding happens over an infinite number of periods and is given by the formula:

A=Pe^{rt}

Where:

  • A is the future value of the investment
  • P is the principal amount invested
  • r,\ t is the rate of interest and time respectively.

#We substitute the given values in the equation to solve for t:

A=2P\\\\\therefore 2P=Pe^{rt}\\\\2=e^{0.03425t}\\\\t=\frac{In \ 2}{0.03425}\\\\=20.237874\approx20.24\ years

Hence, it takes approximately 20.24 years for the principal to double in value.
