Answer:

So in standard form equation will be x^2+2x-1

Step-by-step explanation:

We have given expression \frac{x^2-5x+6}{x-3}+\frac{x^3-1}{x-1}

Let first we solve first part of the expression

So \frac{x^2-5x+6}{x-3}=\frac{x^2-3x-2x+6}{x-3}=\frac{(x-3)(x-2)}{x-3}=x-2

Now second part \frac{x^3-1}{x-1}

We know the algebraic identity a^3-b^3=(a-b)(a^2+ab+b^2)

So by using this identity

\frac{x^3-1}{x-1}=\frac{(x-1)(x^2+x+1)}{x-1}=x^2+x+1

Now adding first and second part

x-2+x^2+x+1=x^2+2x-1

So in standard form equation will be x^2+2x-1

A deck is in the shape of a right triangle. The area of the deck is 44 m². The length of one side of the deck next to the right
Andrews [41]
11m
The area of a triangle is bh/2. If we know the height (8m), we can plug it into a=bh/2 for a=8h/2 or a=4h or a/4=h
Since we know the area (44m^2), we can put that in for 44/4=h or h=11 metres.

A car traveled 300 meters in 30 seconds. A truck traveled 600 meters in 60 seconds. Which car was faster ?
rewona [7]

Multiply the car by 2: 300 meters x 2 = 600 meters

30 seconds x 2 = 60 seconds.

The car also traveled 600 meters in 60 seconds, so the speed of the vehicles are the same.

No vehicle was faster.
