Three environmental cues that can be listed are: territory, lighting and sound.

The ways the three of them affect the expectations for communication are:

When it comes to territory, being close to someone will mean that this individual is friends with me, or has a close relationship. If the person takes his/her distance, I expect to be having a more formal conversation, or to be interacting with someone whom I'm not close with.

Lighting affects my expectations for communication in a way that if the light is low, I'll be expecting to have a more intimate conversation, specially with someone whom I have a relationship with.

And last, sound, if I'm in a noisy place I won't expect to have a serious conversation, I'll be expecting to have a more casual talk. In a quiet environment I can expect to have a serious talk.

oliver schilke, martin reimann, karen s. cook (2021), "trust in social relations," annual review of sociology, 47, 239-259.
OlgaM077 [116]

Social connections can foster a sense of obligation and empathy for others, which in turn motivates people to act in ways that promote both their own and others' health. Social connections give knowledge and establish norms that further affect healthy habit formation.

What does this study hope to achieve?

In fact, trust is frequently seen as the substance that binds society together and is essential to understanding the dynamics of social relations.

To better understand what trust is and where it comes from, we examine the growing body of sociological literature. In order to achieve this, we separate two research streams—on particularized trust and generalized trust, respectively—and offer an integrative framework that connects these two areas of study while simultaneously improving conceptual clarity.

What did this study accomplish?

With the use of this framework, it will be possible to pinpoint several crucial directions for future research, such as fresh studies into the radius of trust, the intermediate form of categorical trust, and the connections between various types of trust.

This paper also urges for greater research that emphasizes the effects of trust rather than its causes, paying closer attention to the trustee side of the relationship, and using fresh empirical techniques. Trust research will continue to offer crucial insights into how contemporary society functions in the years to come thanks to such cutting-edge methodologies.

What is structural functionalism?

It corresponds to an anthropological theory that is based on the philosophy that the different institutions existing in society, such as the state and the church, are responsible for maintaining the social order, that is, each institution aims to structure society through the fulfillment of objectives. essential for the quality of life and the preservation of citizens' rights.

Structural functionalism is related to Durkhein's theory, which understood social institutions as interdependent entities that together contributed to the unity of society and its correct functioning.

Therefore, structural functionalism is a current of thought that focuses on the importance of social institutions and their joint systematization for social organization.

It's commonly believed that most political elections are determined by the public's impressions of the candidates rather than th
Lapatulllka [165]

Answer:

Reasons for irrational behaviour : Political brand name establishment in favour of candidate, enhancing brand loyalty towards.

More knowledgable public : Would value candidate working on real development, rather than mere brand name.

Explanation:

Political elections are determined by the public's impressions of the candidates rather than the candidates' views on the issues.

Reason(s) of such irrational voting behaviour could be : The candidate having established a personal brand image of himself/ herself, specially in a particular community group. This makes the people of the community being 'brand loyal' towards their candidate, irrespective of his or her ideologies. It is also possible to make that political personality (candidate) an important part of 'national image' or 'community leader image', which reinforce support for the candidate, irrespective of person perception and attitudes.

If public were more knowledgeable about factors that affect person perception and attitudes : The political support would not be based on lineaged political brand names. It would rather be earned on the basis of candidate's performance for socio - economic, political upliftment. This would give power in the hands of deserving politicians & create a message that 'real work' & not just 'name' is needed to gain political success
