The interior angles of a triangle is equal to 180
So you add 45+55=100 then you subtract that from 180 which makes the other interior angle equal to 80 and because a flat line is also equal to 180 you subtract 180-80 which equals 100

So the answer would be 100

Arthur, Yusuf, and Bill had some stamps in the ratio 3: 5: 6. When Yusuf gave some stamps to Arthur and Bill gave Arthur 42 stam
Pavlova-9 [17]

Answer:

210 stamps

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

  • Arthur ⇒ a = 3 k
  • Yusuf ⇒  y = 5k
  • Bill ⇒      b = 6k

Yusuf gave x stamps to Arthur, then:

  • y = 5k -x
  • a = 3k + x

Bill gave Arthur 42 stamps more than Yusuf gave to Arthur, then:

  • b = 6k - (x+42)
  • a = 3k + x + x + 42

Now all 3 have same amount of stamps:

  • 5k -x = 6k - x - 42 = 3k + 2x + 42

From the first part of the equation we get:

  • 6k - 5k = 42 + x - x
  • k = 42

How many stamps did Yusuf have at first?

  • y = 5k
  • y =5*42
  • y = 210 stamps

Yusuf had 210 stamps at first

A square pyramid has a height of 25 ft and each side of the base has a length of 15 ft.
Naya [18.7K]

Answer:

Surface area of square pyramid is computed as follows:

A = a² + a*√(a² + 4h²)

where a is the base length and h is the height.

If a model of the square pyramid is scaled down by a factor of x, then the surface area will be:

A' = (a/x)² + (a/x)*√[(a/x)² + 4(h/x)²]

A' = a²/x² + a/x * √[a²/x² + 4h²/x²]

A' = a²/x² + a/x * √[(a² + 4h²)/x²]

A' = a²/x² + a/x * √(a² + 4h²)/√x²

A' = a²/x² + a/x² * √(a² + 4h²)

A' = 1/x² * [a² + a*√(a² + 4h²)]

A' = 1/x² * A

That is, the surface area will be 1/x² times the original surface area. If h = 25 ft and a = 15 ft:

A = 15² + 15*√(15² + 4(25)²) =  1008.02 ft²

The factor is not mentioned in the question, nevertheless, the area will be 1008.02/factor² ft²
